Need assistance with clothing? Have any clothing you think someone else would enjoy? Bring them by the office! Quarterly the Glass House has a Clothing Closet Day. We bring out all donated clothes and arrange them by size and type. You can also reach out and make an appointment with us if you can't make it to the event day! Bi-Yearly we take any clothing that hasn't found a new home and donate them to Hangers of Hope.
Our food pantry is run by community donations. We keep a variety of shelf-stable foods in our office. Come by during office hours and take what you need, no questions asked.
We offer an in-house technology lab. In our office we have a media room with computers, and during events we have game consoles that everyone can use. Need to print something off? We got you. Scanning in some documents? Not a problem! Everyone is more than welcome to come in during office hours to make use of our technology lab.
Once a month the Glass House hosts or invites the community to a variety of life skills classes. In the past we have had, financial, cooking, job interviewing, sewing, art, creative writing and self-defense classes. Follow us on social media to see which classes we'll have that month!

The Trevor Project is a non-profit suicide prevention organization that provides 24/7 crisis support services, research, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ young people.

We accept Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurance plans. We also offer self-pay fee discounts based on income and household size.

Understanding your HIV-status allows you to take control of your health and is important for your relationships. If you test negative, you can get more information on different prevention tools, such as PrEP, and if you test positive you can start treatment to manage HIV and help prevent transmission to others.

Project Healthy AIDS Recovery Program was designed to increase social support and treatment among clients suffering from mental health and drug use disorders. For those who are unaware of their HIV & Hep-C status, support groups are available by a certified peer support staff.

East Texas Cares Resource Center expanded its mission four years ago to provide all marginalized members of our community with social services to help them gain access to programs. Workforce Solutions East Texas can provide many services to adults with barriers to employment through our WIOA Program. This program allows us to provide job skills for our future job seekers. We can do this by providing paid work experience, on-the-job-training, work readiness courses, and scholarships for school!

Past documentation of Queer life in East Texas has mainly come from outside sources, focused on violence, and has failed to thoroughly capture the history of the area. Because of this, I have started having conversations with local Queers where I collect stories and pictures of their lives here in East Texas, as well as what Queer joy means to them.

Tyler Transit transformed its existing fixed route service into a MicroTransit service starting Monday, Jan. 13, 2025. All Tyler Transit bus stops are used as pick-up locations for riders. The ride will take them directly to the doorstep of a destination within sight of the closest bus stop on any existing route.

Family Circle of Care is a health center that operates seven medical clinics, one dental clinic, and a mobile medical clinic serving the East Texas cities of Tyler, Athens, and Jacksonville and surrounding communities. We provide Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Mental Health Services, Dental Services, and Social Services and Resource Assistance, and have been the leading community health center (also known as a Federally Qualified Health Center or FQHC) in our service area since 2013.

Bethesda Health Clinic and Pediatrics is here for underserved East Texas families who either lack insurance coverage or are underinsured. We understand the challenges of high deductibles relative to income, and we’re here to bridge the gap.
